  北京奧組委開閉幕式工作部部長張和平說，在開幕式文藝表演的結尾部分，也就是《夢想》表演段落里，將首次公開演唱開幕式主題歌。這首主題歌是從奧組委歷時五年、舉辦了四屆的奧運歌曲征集評選活動中脫穎而出，并經專門的評審程序確定的。為尊重大家對神秘的期待，今天仍然不公布這首主題歌的相關信息。但可以公布的是：主題歌長度為三分多鐘，演唱者是中國著名歌手劉歡和英國著名歌手莎拉·布萊曼。

  British soprano Sarah Brightman and Chinese musician Liu Huan will form the musical lineup for the theme song of the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games on Friday night, the Games organizers revealed on Wednesday.

  Sarah Brightman, who gained worldly acclaim for her unique style of a blend of classical vocals and pop-inspired instrumentation and arrangement, arrived in Beijing days before the Olympics and was spotted near the National Stadium, the venue set for the opening ceremony of the 2008 Games.

  Liu Huan, who wrote the "One World, One Dream" Olympic jingles, has just finished his part in the Olympic torch relay at its Tianjin leg days ago.
