　　Chinese Companies Interested in Organizing for London Olympics

　　Chinese corporations are showing great interest in participating in London Olympics-related projects. Liu Min has more.Reporter:

　　Chinese investors are looking to take part in organizing the 2012 London Olympics, and companies with experience from the 2008 Beijing Games are looking forward to showing their capabilities once again.

　　Vice president Dong Bin (董斌) of Beijing Urban Construction Group says his company has signed an agreement to officially participate in constructing temporary facilities for the London Games.

　　"The Beijing Olympic Games provided a good test field for us, and our results from providing temporary public facilities were more than successful. We are confident in bringing our experience to London."

　　Senior manager Jonathan Ellenor from Cavendish Group International says Beijing Urban Construction Group is one of the three Chinese firms that have agreed to participate in the London Games.

　　"A lot of Chinese companies that gained vast experience with the Beijing Games will be interested in talking to potential Western counterparts as well as the official bodies involved in the Olympics, in how they might bring some of that experience to bear in the London Olympics in 2012."

　　Hong Ying (洪瑛), president of Fortune International, says companies that helped with the Beijing Olympics are ready to bring their experience to London.

　　"Our service is mainly in counseling, and we were lucky enough to work with some of the top sponsors for the Beijing Olympics, and all the experience we gained through the Beijing Games is still valuable for the upcoming London Games."

　　Hong Ying says the Olympics demand a high standard from service providers, and the cooperation should move fast as only three years remain until the event.

　　Jonathan Ellenor also says that Chinese and British companies have to find ways to work together and take advantage of the experience many Chinese companies have to offer.

　　"As Chinese companies that are coming with the wealth of experience from the Beijing Games into London and promote themselves and say: here we are, we've got all those experiences, we've got all those skills, we've got all this knowledge, how can we actually help the UK in the preparations for their Olympic games."

　　The Games will be not only a business opportunity for experienced Chinese companies, but also a good opportunity for the UK to start exploring and looking at ways to cut costs for their Olympic Games.
