　　劉翔在家門口衛(wèi)冕110米欄冠軍的夢(mèng)想在本周一宣告破滅。他在男子110米欄第一輪比賽時(shí)退出了。世界冠軍劉翔是全體中國人民期望在北京奧運(yùn)會(huì)上奪金最熱門人物，在第一槍有選手搶跑之后，他蹣跚著離開了跑道，四周一片死寂。

　　False start原是“起步失誤”的意思，在賽跑中指“起跑犯規(guī)”，也就是我們通常所說的 “搶跑”。To jump the gun也是“搶跑”的意思。此外，還有很多與false相關(guān)的固定表達(dá)，比如法律中的false arrest(非法拘留、不法逮捕)，false imprisonment(不法拘禁)等。
