現(xiàn)主要 從事“電化學(xué)分子識(shí)別 - 分子內(nèi)相互作用”、“導(dǎo)電高分子 - 碳納米管復(fù)合材料及應(yīng)用”和“熔鹽電解固態(tài)金屬氧化物”等領(lǐng)域的研究以及材料化學(xué)的教學(xué)工作。提出和建立的熔鹽電解固態(tài)金屬氧化物方法在提煉金屬鈦、鈦合金及其它金屬材料等方面的應(yīng)用是被國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)界、商界和工業(yè)界普遍公認(rèn)與看好的突破性進(jìn)展。在包括 Nature 、 Adv. Mater. 、 Angew. Chem. Int. Edit. 、 J. Am. Chem. Soc , 等二十余種國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)期刊 發(fā)表論文 50 余篇, SCI 引用超過(guò) 1100 次。 主要研究方向?yàn)椴牧想娀瘜W(xué)。

The area of my research may be best described as "Materials Electrochemistry", including
---- innovation materials for electrochemistry, energy conversion and storage (e.g. fuel cells and supercapacitors),
---- electrochemical preparation and applications of novel composites of carbon nanotube-conducting polymers,
---- electrolytic extraction of metals and alloys from solid metal oxides in molten salts,
---- carbon nanotubes production in molten salts, and
---- cathodic refining/recycling of metals (Ti and Cu and their alloys) in molten salts.

---- electrolytic extraction of metals and alloys from solid metal oxides in molten salts,
---- carbon nanotubes production in molten salts, and
---- cathodic refining/recycling of metals (Ti and Cu and their alloys) in molten salts.
